Location: London
The 3 Quays project is a 9 storey Design & Build which has residential apartments, retail and restaurant units directly on the waters edge alongside the Tower of London with completion at the end of this year.
Our package is predominately the hoist and high level run offs, our run offs serve the 8th and roof (9th) levels as shown on the photo which is designed for a 5kn/m2 loading on both levels at the same time.
The hoist run off is single boarded with a 18mm anti slip buffalo board overlay and is bridged from the slab area to the hoist tie posts (approx 3.0m).
The hoist company HTC have installed twin goods/passenger hoist on the ground floor slab with run offs at the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th floor levels which are linked to the building by means of installing a bespoke 3.0m bridge (floors above by us due to the set back in the building)
We have installed a protection walkway along the green route, smoking area canopy, canopy above the stair core at roof level, access walkway for the crane driver at the ground floor and various small items all for Mace.
We have also installed heavy duty access ramps to the ground floor and 1st floor levels for Yuanda (external cladding) to access the materials from the loading bay.
