Location: 190 Great Portland Street, London
GKR Scaffolding secured the scaffolding project at 190 Great Portland Street in February 2005. The lead in time was essential on this project to progress with a design for the HAKI Roof to span 35.00m between the scaffold supports at a height of 13.00m above the existing roof level.
GKR Scaffolding’s experience with HAKI Roofing and the technical support from Carl Stevens enabled the scheme to be developed in 8 weeks to allow the construction works to commence on site. The construction programme for the works were 22 weeks for the main scaffold internal Atriums and the HAKI Roof, all of the scaffold works were completed in such time to allow the main works to commence.
GKR Scaffolding can boast that the Great Portland Street HAKI TRAK Roof is one of the largest structures in the South East at the time of press
