GKR Scaffolding purchased the Medway office complex in March 2005 and, following a major refurbishment of the office and reconfiguration of the yard area, GKR finally moved in on 9th May 2005.
The site is situated on 2 acres and includes 2 storeys of high tech office accommodation and extensive internal warehouse facilities. The total office accommodation is 12,000 sq ft and the warehouse some 25,000 sq ft, with storage up to 10m in height. All of the GKR system scaffold and roofing is stored within the warehouse area, along with fittings and all materials to be serviced prior to delivery on site.
The external storage area extends to a further 1.5 acres, within which our conventional scaffold materials and vehicles are stored. Our premises are secured with a state-of-the-art centrally monitored system, including 18 of the latest video surveillance cameras.
We feel that, being the industry leader, our office complex should reflect the work that we carry out and we are proud to showcase it here.
We welcome visitors for a guided tour of our facilities which provide our staff with a 600 sq ft training room, showers, canteen, meeting rooms, high tech reception area, safety advisor, first day induction room, two kitchen areas for preparing food, and a 56 space car park.
