Phase 2 of Elmsleigh Shopping Centre has now commenced with the rebuild of the British Home Store Flagship store at the centre.  The shopping Centre has remained open throughout all of the refurbishment work so remaining on schedule to the programme has been essential throughout all of the work undertaken at Elmsleigh.  GKR Scaffolding has been appointed by Kier Southern to undertake all scaffolding work on site.  This includes a HAKI 750 temporary roof built over a rooftop conservatory restaurant area.  GKR Scaffolding are only one of a few Scaffolding companies in the South East and London area to use this roof system and on this project it has proved invaluable with 18 roofs erected in phase one.

This is the second phase of a five phase project which is expected to last over 10 years to complete.

The contract has a value of £510 to GKR Scaffolding.
