GKR Scaffolding has been awarded this prestigious contract at 121 High Holborn by main contractor Skanska following previously successful projects that it has been involved in.  The project is part refurbishment, part new build with the first phase of scaffold constructed through the steel retention frame to allow early exploratory works to take place.

In addition a heavy duty gantry has been built to support in excess of 70 tonnes of office accommodation on site for the duration of the project. Access on-site is via 2 HAKI staircases.

The value of the project is £195k which is expected to last 72 weeks.  Work commenced on-site in December 2006.
