Work commenced in October 2005 on 14 Cornhill, EC2, a listed building in the heart of the City.  This is the largest project that GKR Scaffolding has ever been involved in and with twelve months still to go the project cost is currently running at £1.6 million.  The building is being completely refurbished both internally and externally and is surrounded by 2500 tonne of scaffolding - both conventional and modular with access provided by 4 x 40 metre HAKI stair cases and weather protection provided by 2 x HAKI 750 roofs. GKR Scaffolding is providing a full-time supervisor, a full-time scaffold co-ordinator and16 scaffolders on a daily basis and Health and Safety support and advice 3 days a week.
